So as I'm browsing DA, munching on wheat thins, and I decide to wander over to my profile stats. Now, okay. I do love Harry Potter and drawing scenes from the books is nothing short of fun.

Where am I going with this?

"The Marauders" [link] has 40 favorites. Most people would say, "Wow! Congrats, that's freaking sweet!" I'm more like, "Ugh.. Someone probably just typed in 'Harry Potter' into the search bar and auto-faved it." Cynically and truthfully, I'm positive that's exactly what happened.

As I wander the most popular deviations on DA, I find that while there are some genuinely amazing pieces, most of it is fanart... or bondage.. OR bondage fanart! BONUS!

Don't get me wrong, fanart can be really awesome and well... whatever floats your boat with the bondage thing. But seriously? Look at the quality of art. Does it look like everyone else's art? Does it serve any other purpose than just fan service? Bah. I'm probably just gonna get flamed for this... or no one will read it.

Anyway, "The Marauders" IS NOT THAT GREAT. Really, just look at my other stuff? Appreciate it for what it is and critique it for what it isn't. Don't just ignore it because it's not Twilight, Harry Potter, or Naruto.
